The 2025 Kia EV6 in a Nutshell
Kia kicked off its electric vehicle push back in 2021 with the launch of the EV6. The South Korea automaker has since expanded its EV lineup, but it wouldn't have been possible without it. The EV6 has also recieved a couple of accolades over the years, chief among which being the 2022 European Car of the Year.
It then recieved a facelift in 2024 for the 2025 model year. It gets a fresher look, a refreshed interior, as well as upgrades to the drivetrain. It's expected to carry over into the 2026 model year. It's also worth pointing out that it's the curvier mechanical twin of the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
There are seven trims to choose from in the 2025 EV6, along with two battery sizes and drivetrains. Prices range from $42,900 to $58,900.
2025 Kia EV6 Lease Deals for November
Kia is offering four leasing options for the EV6 this November. It's available for both the Light Long Range RWD, as well as the Light Long Range AWD. For the RWD, it's $389 for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing. Go for the AWD and it goes for $439 for 36 months, also with $3,999 due at signing.
Besides that, Kia has a promo for a shorter 24-month lease period. It's $349 per month for the RWD and $409 per month for the AWD version. Both are $3,999 due at signing, and this offer is valid until December 1, 2025. It's also $0.20 per mile over 10,000 miles per year regardless of which lease deal you get.
2025 Kia EV6 Highlights
The 2025 EV6 gets a larger battery pack, now at 84 kWh from 77.4 kWh. Most trims get this except for the entry-level version, but even the base trim benefits from a new 63kWh pack. Range hovers between 237 miles to 319 miles, depending on the trim chosen.
As for power ratings, the 63kWh battery-equipped EV6 makes 167 hp and 258 lb-ft, while the single-motor RWD trims with the 84kWh pack put out 225 hp and 258 lb-ft. Those who go for the all-wheel drive models get a second motor that boots output to 320 hp and 446 lb-ft.
The EV6 range starts with the Light RWD and that's the one with the smaller battery capacity and it's rear-wheel drive only. For the rest of the trims, all-wheel drive is optional, starting with the Light Long Range, the main focus of this lease deal. Above that is the Wind RWD and AWD that adds a more advanced driver assist system and other convenience features, while the GT Line sportier bits and pieces plus a drift mode.
Final Thoughts
It may be Kia's first attempt at an EV, but they knocked it out of the park with the EV6. It drives well, rides well, and even has a bit of a dynamic flair. It's then all wrapped up in an distinctive exterior and spacious, practical cabin. While EVs aren't everyone's cup of tea, the EV6 is a great choice for those who want to start their battery-powered journey.
